So it was a busy weekend lots going on.
The Wedding
The weeding was Fantastic. As best man i was busy enough doing lots of little things. including the momentary panic of "ah Sh**e, there is the bride, weres the groom!" but all quickly sorted itself out.
I was nervous about the sppech, not for the speaking in front of lots of people, i have long since stopped being nervous about that. I was nervous about messing this up, it was a big day for my brother, and i didn't want to mess it up.
Was up till 3.30 dancing and talking and all that.
Poker
We arrived in the hotel on friday night, and were soon playing poker. I got in three games, and won two of the games. of course i had no right to win any of the hands that knocked out the last 3 players. first time i was big blind when i got a 2,4 off suit. no one raised so i got to see the flop for free, and flopped 2 pairs. which meant i beat the guy who had pocket aces, he should have raised before the flop. the other hands were jsut as unlikely, including hitting my straight on the river.
Either way i started the weekend with a hundred euros. the first time i went under that was sometime around 2am on Sunday morning, depite spending a large amount of money on drink for others!
P-con 3
got to the con sometime around 2 o'clock and zombied around for a while, still very tired from the previous night. had a few words with ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) deannawol, aramuin, nwhyte and natural20, and various others!

Good to have met you properly - I think we had a decent chat at the first P-Con, but saw more of each other this time.
